PEELA!

i leave TODAY for my favorite city, SAN FRANCISCO! 

i may be gone for 2 weeks, but i have taken the time to write some posts in advance. i will still have computer and internet access, so i'll do what i can to update with any art i create on my journeys or travel tips (mostly for the disabled).


i am flying away from home to my favorite california boy, to some of my favorite family and home friends, for two whole weeks. but it's not all fun and games. sadly, i have no choice but to leave the love of my life at home. my dearest, thoughtful friend decided to help me through this rough time in my life by creating a little miniature version of her.  i can not stop laughing at it.  thank you bill hewitt. you are a riot.

wish my luck on my SECOND journey flying across the country alone (still with that whole disability thing in the way. read past posts about concerns and solutions here)

those of you who are anxiously wondering why i haven't posted, this precious tiny little face is the reason.  this is leela, my 6 month old australian terrier, the cutest, sweetest, most snuggley puppy of all time.  daily posts will resume as soon as possible, but bear with me while i adjust to our new life together !

girly sketches

a few weeks ago via facebook, i asked for girl cartoon suggestions to sketch out outside in the sunshine during the 10 seconds of gorgeous weather we had. kitana is by far my favorite sketch out of these 4, and she was always my favorite character from mortal kombat... along with sub zero. i'd be happy to see the two of them married one day.

i got other suggestions that i didn't get to yet, but look for venture brother, x-men, and other gals in the future. and i'm in currently in the works of a big scooby gang piece, which will be the first 1EG/KAOTIC KRITTER combo painting, and i'm waaaaaay excited about that
