The Ant Farmer

Meet The Ant Farmer!  This Anteater Ant Farmer is a tricky little devil.  What better way to never go hungry than to manage your own ant farm?  There's a reason his rosey cheeks are so chubby and plump!

The Ant Farmer is my first 8" Dunny, created for the Art Without Borders  art show at Art Whino Gallery in National Harbor, MD.  The show is benefitting Doctors Without Borders.  Read more about the show and Doctors Without Borders on the event page here.

I had such a great time last year, I'll be attending the opening again this year!  The show is March 22, 2014 at Blind Whino in Washington DC, and the show will be on display at Art Whino Gallery after the reception until April 22.

Dumbo and Timothy Q. Mouse

Dumbo and Timothy Q. Mouse!  My second 3" custom Dunny for the Air Pirates dunny series released recently.  I like using toy platforms in different ways so i wanted to use the dunny ears as the trunk and hat.  Had some fun with him.

Pumba and Timon

Here's Pumba (and Timon!)  Pumba and Timon are a 3" custom Dunny, made for the Air Pirates dunny series recently released.  I am a disney fanatic so i was stoked to make disney themed toys.  I had to go with The Lion King, one of my all time favorites.  Now i'm anxious to make more!

It was really hard to part with these guys.  I love them.

Custom Vinyl Art Exhibit Raising Awareness and Funds for the
Doctors Without Borders Organization

Art Without Borders is an international initiative by Pranay Parikh and Mawuli Dzirasa to help raise awareness and funds (20% of of the proceeds go to DWB) for international organizations providing humanitarian aid across the globe. The current show will benefit the charity Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières), and will feature over 40 artists from around the world. This charity provides quality health care to those in crisis irrespective of their race, religion, or political affiliation. Each artist will put his or her own spin on iconic blank Dunny or Munny vinyl figure by Kidrobot in support of Doctors Without Borders and their mission. Art without Borders is both a custom vinyl art show, and opportunity to participate in a unique show of talented artists unified to help people all around the world.

the carpenter and the walrus

who knows and loves the story of the carpenter and the walrus?! well here it is:

i was asked to do a commission of a 4" munnyworld figure and a 3" dunny.  i came up with the idea to recreate the well known story of the carpenter and the walrus.  the beaver is a customized 4" rooz, the walrus is a 3" dunny with it's head turned upside down, making the ears the tusks, and the oyster was fully hand sculpted. it was a very fun one to make so naturally i was excited and proud when this trio's new owner over in italy gave me an incredibly kind and positive response.
