"Curious Beasts"

As mentioned earlier, due to lack of time I only had time for 2 new pieces for the "Curious Beasts" show.  Also included in the "Curious Beasts" show at Clutter Gallery are these 3 little gems from 2013.

Quillbert

Meet Quillbert!

Quillbert is a Custom Foomi Head, with real porcupine quills!  Quillbert is easily the most challenging piece I have created so far.  I'm ashamed at the amount of profanity that left my mouth while sticking those relentless little quills in his back.  They are thin and tiny but WOW do they hurt!  Once he was fully sculpted, quills and all, the second challenge was to paint him... while keeping the quills unpainted.  A long and painful process but it had to be done!  I'm very happy with the outcome, I like to think my blood and tears were worth it :)

Meet Kurt Wondertrunk!  Kurt, a 7" Custom Munny, is a sweet little daydreamer, so full of wonder!

I am thrilled and honored to announce I'll be a part of the upcoming "Curious Beasts" show at Clutter Gallery in Beacon, NJ!  I was invited to be a part of the show at the last minute, so unfortunately I only had time to finish 2 brand new pieces, but I will also be including 3 previously made favorites for the show.  The show opens TOMORROW :)
