The Sailor Man

Meet the Sailor Man!  My custom Mini Munny for the Popeye 85th Anniversary Show "Strong to the Finich!" opening TONIGHT at Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles, CA !  This guy was a bit different than my norm, as i have done few human characters in this style.  I was nervous about how he was going to turn out but i'm happy with him and excited to be part of the show!

Mad Moxxi

Meet Mad Moxxi.  She is for the "Video Game Vixens" section at POPcade show with POPzilla Gallery at Rothick Art Haus.  Each artist was asked to create a pin up of a video game gal on 11"x14" canvas.  Here's mine!  Mad Moxxi.  I have to be honest, i'm not quite familiar with the game.  But i know many that are and i fell in love with the look of this character.  I actually want to give her another try in the future..

Mad Moxxi is now for sale here

One-Eyed Hellgirl

"One-Eyed Hellgirl"
8"x10"
My second piece for the Hellboy 20th Anniversary Art Show, curated by Chogrin at Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles.  I wasn't sure how this piece was going to turn out but i am really excited with the outcome.  I love how the colors work with each other and the two glass eyes just pop.  As mentioned in my previous post, the Hellboy Art Show went amazingly.

The show opened this past Friday, May 2.  This little lady is still available for sale at Hero Complex Gallery, she can be purchased by following this link.

Hellboy and Abe

Meet Hellboy and Abe!  This is a custom Mini Munny and Micro of two amazing characters, as part of the Hellboy 20th Anniversary Art Show, curated by the amazing Chorgrin at Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles.  The show opened this past Friday, May 2 featuring artwork inspired by Hellboy by over 100 artists.  The creator himself, Mike Mignola attended the opening and even had a piece of his own on display.  Pretty freaking awesome. The place was packed and I wish more than anything I could have been there.

I saw my little duo sold, so i'm happy they are off to a good Hellboy fan! Thank you so much to Chogrin, Hero Complex Gallery, Mike Mignola, and everyone who allowed me to be a part of something special.

The Bat Man and Robin

Meet The Bat Man and Robin!  Bat is a 7" Custom Trikky, and Robin is a Micro Foomi head.  I made these guys for last month's Vinyl Thoughts show "UNMASKED: Secret Identities and Hidden Desires" at Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.  The show was lovely some with awesome pieces, I'm too obsessed with art.  Was great to meet the folks in charge, some artists, and happy to say my piece sold that night! :)

His Doll

This is "His Doll", my first glow in the dark piece ever.  For Bottleneck Gallery's "When the Lights Go Out" blacklight show opening this Saturday, March 22!

Wish i could be there (I'll be in MD for the Art Without Borders Show) but it's sure to be an amazing show!  Above is my piece in day light.

Below is my piece under the black light.

And below here is my piece in daylight with the black light also on.  I like the contrast between each one, even this one with only the slight glow of Jack in the background.
