Art All Night 2013

My piece hanging at Art All Night (24 hour event of art, live music, etc!) this year.  It was a huge turn out and tons of fun, as usual.  My piece "Rustic Shipwreck" is still available, 16"x20" plus frame.  Contact me if interested :)
I'll be posting better photos and close-ups of my piece shortly.

Yoti Howlerton

Meet Yoti Howlerton!  Yoti is my doofy little coyote friend.  He is a customized 7" Kidrobot Trikky, complete with real coyote teeth.  Like i said before, i'm really into incorporating real parts into my customs.  I just love idea and the look of it.

I had a ton of trouble with his outfit, which i spent far too many hours painting and repainting...and repainting.  It was an unbelievably stressful piece for me which is rare/annoying.  I'm pretty happy with the outcome and if anyone is interested, Yoti is still looking for a home sweet home!

Rattley Stanley: Snake Oil Salesman

Meet Rattley Stanley, the traveling snake oil salesman!  Rattley is easily my new favorite custom and i can't help but adore him.  He is a custom Kidrobot Rooz, which I've been wanting to use to make a snake for years and finally moved forward with the idea.  Rattley is especially special because i got a real rattlesnake tail as unique addition.  It even kind of rattles, which is fun.  I was concerned with how i was going to blend the real take with my less realistic sculpting, but i think it turned out well and i love the look of it.  I really love creating little kritters and over the past few years decided to start adding real animal parts to add a little extra fun.  You'll be seeing lots more of that in upcoming customs!

After i told my talented and creative friend Bill that my Rattley was going to be a business man, he suggested making him a snake oil salesman.  Stupid little me didn't know what snake oil was, so i looked it up and read all about the product and Clark Stanley who originally produced snake oil.  Genius idea for my rattlesnake!

Last chance!

Last chance to grab these pretty ladies directly from me, before shipping them off to the wonderful Rise Up Gallery in Miami.  "The Fanciest Feathers" (Peacock) has sold, but the remaining three are up for grabs.

If no one claims them soon, they will be for sale later on at Rise Up Gallery

Girl on Wheels

"Girl on Wheels"
11"x14"

Back in January, my sister and i went down to Miami for Rise Up Gallery's grand opening where my buddy David McCauley (paralyzed artist and founder of Rise Up) was an amazing host.  He was a blast to hang out with, put together the greatest gallery opening, and gave us tips on all the cool places to go, eat, and drink.  On our last day in Miami, he mentioned he had a thing for girls on skateboards.  So my sister and i decided it would be a fun gift to give him one of my girls riding a skateboard.  Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do David!  You rock.

Ninja Pez

"Ninja Pez"
11"x14"
I painted this for my good friend Bill Hewitt who has a collection of artwork with ninjas holding pez dispensers.  Of course i went in the direction of the 1EG's and went with a skunk head after making Billiam Stinkerstench for this same friend.  Because he stinks, like a skunk.
