Jellybean

Meet Jellybean!  Baby Jellybean is my very first customized Lunartik Mini Cup of Tea.  I had fun coming up with the idea and even more fun creating it while desperately hoping it would actually work.

Baby dragon Jellybean takes his first breath of life!  I sat in my studio by myself for hours working on him and every time i looked at his silly little face, i'd make the noise "BLEH!" to myself (like a crazy person).  It's just the noise i hear when i look that face.  I love my baby dragon!

Commissioned painting i recently finished.  Loved painting this one!  The idea i was given to paint was thinking of oneself as a tree and the leaves are hearts.  Some of them are whole, some are broken, and some are mended/fixed.  The hearts are the past, present, and future events in life.  Some events kept your heart whole, yet some completely break it.

I made this 7" sex monkey Munny for my sister, who just finished grad school where she studied sex therapy, sex education, everything sex.  I couldn't resist.

Guillermo Del Toro Art Show

I was recently a part of an exclusive Guillermo Del Toro Art Show, illustrating and celebrating the work of Guillermo Del Toro.  Each artist was to depict 3 of his films:  Pans Labyrinth, The Devil's Backbone, and Cronos

My pieces are the 3D Paintings i've done in the past of scenes from each movie.  The background painted with about 1/4" space between glass with another layer of painted foreground.  As usual, they look better in person, you can't quite see the 3D effect in a photo
