tonight is the opening for the Wave Warriors Art Show and Benefit in Virginia Beach! i'm super stoked to be a part of this show, and although i can't be there in person, i know it's going to be an amazing show. i have 3 pieces in the show: 2 brand new pieces and one previously exhibited in rise up's show in december. my pieces are all very different, but i absolutely loved coming up with and painting each of these. they all keep to the show's initial theme(s): the body and/or ocean-inspired work.
facebook event. more info about the show:
Billabong and 17th street are bringing in Billabong Surf Artist Andy Davis, which is pretty amazing, so he will be coming here from California signing prints, showing his new clothing line with Billabong, and selling a few of his paintings at the show.
The show is equally a fundraiser for Wave Warriors as it is an art show. There will be a small silent auction to help raise money for Wave Warriors, as well as a nice display to help educate others about the Surf Camps that Wave Warriors puts together.
Billabong, 17th street surf shop, and Epic Productions Present a night with Andy Davis at the Wave Warriors art show and Benefit.
